£0.00

SKU: ILT-82645536 Categories: , ,

The Ball (or Globe) chair is maybe one of the most iconic chairs of the 20th century and designed in the 1960’s by Finnish designer Eero Aarnio. The Ball Chair’s original drawing is dated January 11, 1963.

The Ball Chair was first presented to the public at the Asko stand at the Cologne furniture fair in 1966.

Eeero Aanio once said “The ball is the best form, as it achieves maximum strength with minimum material.”

This ball chair is a 1980’s version and retains it’s popularity even today. By a long way this particular chair is in the best condition I have come across in a very long time, having been looked after by it’s previous owners. The black gloss finish is complemented by the contrasting blue woolen fabric which is also in great condition.

Once you sit in one of these ball chairs you never want to get out
