6 French Baumann ‘Traineau’ Chairs

Designed and made in a former clog factory in Colombier-Fontaine, Doubs, France in the 1960’s by Emile & Walter Baumann. These chairs were aptly named the ‘Traineau’ (Sledge) chair due to the wonderful shape of the leg frame. Although these chairs have a distinct Scandinavian inspiration due to their unique design they are proud to be French.
The frame of the chairs are beech with ply wood backrest. These chairs are being sold as a set of 6 chairs with original unmarked upholstery
Condition: Eextremely good condition for it’s age. The wooden frame shows minimal general age related wear but are all structurally sound.
