Vintage Bastiano Sofa by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Gavina c1960’s

This elegant Bastiano sofa was designed by Tobia and Afra Scarpa in 1962 and produced by Gavine. The three-seater sofa feature very soft and comfortable brown natural leather seats and cushions. The Bastiano line is a timeless design of the mid century period. Although the Bastiano Lounge models are no longer produced, some designers cite them as an important design point. Afra and Tobia Scarpa are an award-winning duo of postmodern Italian architects with their works being found in museums in the United States and Europe, including collections at MoMA and the Louvre.  This sofa is in original vintage condition with some traces of use and age.
