We are pleasedd to offer you these very stylish ‘New Yorker’ low and high back (His & Hers) armchairs manufactured by Guy Rogers of Liverpool in the 1960′s
Designed by Eric Pamphilon (Director of Design at Guy Rogers) and George Freyer, together they produced some amazing furniture alongside Harold Dykes & family (owners of ‘Guy Rogers’) who retailed almost exclusively through the ‘Heals’ stores.
Constructed from solid afromosia the frame has a beautiful grain throughout.
In superb restored condition, the framework has been cleaned and re-polished. The cushion have been reupholstered and covered with a gorgeous & versatile cream wool mix fabric making it fully compliant to current fire regulations.
Originally purchased in Heals of London in the 1960’s, both chairs remain extremely comfortable and ready to be enjoyed once again.
Condition: Very, Very Good — This vintage item remains fully functional, light wear consistent with age and use. some wear to the leather as to be expected
