Sven Ellekaer Teak “Borneo” Coffee Table for Komfort of Denmark

The “Borneo” coffee table was designed in Denmark in the 1960’s by Sven Ellekaer for Komfort as part of a larger range of furniture wich included sofas, armchairs and side tables.

The table is very sturdy and reasonably heavy as it is made of solid teak base with a teak veneer top. It’s sleek design makes this ideal for any setting

Sven Ellekaer was a well know designer and architect from Denmark of the 1950s and 1960s. Together with Arne Wahl Iversen and Ole Wanscher, they were the top designers of Komfort, a Danish design furniture manufacturer.

Condition: Very Good — This vintage item has no defects, but it may show slight traces of use.
